College Admission Panel

May 16, 2013

7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Auditorium

Event Details:  The Guidance Department will be sponsoring an evening program for 9 – 11 grade students and their parents. The goal of this presentation is to clarify how different colleges/universities might view admissions and/or services offered to applicants. This year, we have invited admissions representatives from seven different types of schools in order to capture a glimpse into what you might encounter with your child. We hope to highlight how important it is to carefully investigate each college when developing a list of schools and to provide information that will allow your son/daughter to properly prepare for the upcoming college search process. Topics will include admission, services for students, special interest groups, financial aid, academic preparation and things you and your son/daughter can consider now

Come and hear from the admissions’ experts! How does admission vary from school to school? How are the requirements different from a state school to a small, private college, etc.? Should my child apply early decision? This is a great evening.
