We are currently studying poetry. We'll be reading poems, writing poems, and also doing a shared reading of a novel in verse: Home of the Brave, by Katherine Applegate.  
Students: Stay on track with your reading!  All students should be reading 20 minutes per night in your SSR/independent reading book. That is your nightly ELA homework.
