What is Student Ambassadors?

The Student Ambassadors organization is made up of students who reach out to the school and community through various fundraisers, and service-oriented activities.

How are the Student Ambassadors involved in the community?

One of the primary activities Student Ambassadors participate in are monthly field trips to the Care One facility in Livingston.  Students volunteer to spend time visiting with the seniors and enjoy many activities together such as arts & crafts, gardening, and playing games.

Also, Student Ambassadors hold various fundraisers throughout the year and donate to different community organizations, causes, and people in need.

What do the Student Ambassadors do for the school?

Student Ambassadors support the school in a variety of different ways such as assisting with Back-to-School-Night, being a "buddy" to new students, and helping out with the 6th grade orientation visit.

When do the Student Ambassadors meet?

Meetings will be held during Enrichment periods or after school. Students should listen to the announcements or will receive a pass when meetings are scheduled.  Field trips will occur during the school day and returning time may be after school hours; therefore alternate transportation should be arranged by the student in advance.  Students are responsible for all work missed.

Can anyone join Student Ambassadors?

Student Ambassadors is open to all 7th and 8th graders but interested students must first fill out a member registration form and meet with Ms. Iannuzzi in Guidance.  All Student Ambassadors are expected to maintain good behavior and keep up with academic responsibilities.
