District Art Show
“Art Through the Ages” is a stunning collection of student art displayed at the District Art Show, grades K-12.
The Livingston Mall was host to the collection, where the opening night reception on April 25, 2013 brought out families and friends. It was a colorful photo-op for the students surrounded by the multi-media collection that reflects their imagination and passions. Livingston art teachers and the District’s maintenance staff, which constructed the striking display boards, have skillfully arranged the show.
The LHS Jazz Band, in full swing with their selection of jazz standards, created a festive atmosphere for shoppers and exhibit goers.
“Every year I’m just constantly impressed by the quality of the students art work,” said art teacher Janice Reis “The art show unites the whole community because all grade levels are incorporated.”
