Concerts are presented twice a year: winter and spring. Traditionally, the day of a concert includes an early morning dress rehearsal, a daytime assembly before the school and an evening performance for family and friends.
Concert attendance is mandatory for all students participating in instrumental music lessons. See For Families: Concert Attendance and Etiquette
Meeting Times:
Orchestra - 30 minutes prior to start time.
Band - 15 minutes prior to start time.
Evening Performance Dress
Girls – knee length or longer party dress or dress slacks with blouse and comfortable shoes. Boys – collared shirt buttoned and tucked into dress slacks with belt, socks and clean shoes.
If coming from a sporting activity, students may perform at the concert in their team uniform.
PLEASE – NO JEANS, SWEAT SUITS, T-SHIRTS OR SNEAKERS. NOTHING TOO SHORT, TOO TIGHT, TOO LOW OR TOO HIGH.
Band and orchestra members are responsible for bringing all music and equipment.
