MPMS Executive Board 2013 - 2014 looking to fill the following positions. 2 Co-Presidents 1 Treasurer 2 VP Membership 2 VP Programming 2 VP Fundraising 1 Corresponding Secretary 1 Recording Secretary- Already filled 1 Website Manager Following are brief descriptions of each. As Co-Presidents, you have the responsibility of overseeing the monthly HSA meetings, putting together the HSA calendar, attending the PT council, Superintendent and Administrative meetings which are monthly. In some instances there are 2 per month. Usually both Co-Presidents attend but if you want to take turns that is something you will need to work out. Sending out the weekly eblasts, help the treasurer put together the HSA budget. Heading up Monthly meetings, and creating the monthly agenda. Overseeing all over VP's and working with Fundraising throughout the entire year. Treasurer - Responsible for intake and outtake of all monies - creating and maintaining the budget banking duties on a regular basis. Recording Secretary - Takes the minutes and is supposed to email it to everyone for approval (this past year the Co-President reviews and emails out to Executive Board) Corresponding Secretary - read letters received from outside people i.e thank you notes fundraising responsible for overseeing the toolkit fundraiser, basket bazaar and all other possible fundraising events! Fundraising - Help with Fundraising Committees as well as run the 2 Activity nights for students and the teacher walk at the end of the year. Also jump in wherever help is needed. Membership - Running the buzz book and PTA membership and dues. Web Manager - Creates the HSA page on the MPMS website and updates and maintains throughout the year when new fundraising projects are organized. Last year web manager will help you get started! Facebook and "5th Grade Only Facebook Page" – "Hillside 5th Grade 2013" In addition to our weekly Friday bake sales, we had 2 fundraisers (the Thanksgiving Pie Sale and the Tea and Coffee Sale) to support the Hillside Class of 2013 gift to the school which is improving, adding to and sprucing up the lower blacktop and basketball court area at Hillside . Friday Bake Sales for the Spring Season starts Friday, April 5, 2013, after school on the blacktop. Items are 50 cents. Please donate store baked or homemade goodies. (These can be dropped off on the cart outside the main office Friday morning.)
