The regular homework routine will begin in October after it is explained thoroughly at Open House Night.
The homework calendar goes home every Monday. It will consist of the weekly assignments on one side and a reading log on the the other side. All homework assignments should be completed in the green homework book, unless a worksheet is given. Every Friday (or the last day of the school week) homework is due. Also, expect your child to take home a different book Monday through Thursday. The books your child takes home are books at their independent reading level. Please remember to have your child use their strategies to figure out the tricky words and make sure they retell the story after they read it.
