The Three Clever Goats
The Special Delivery
Synopsis: When the three goats decide to go for Pizza they have problems crossing the bridge to get to the restaurant because the Monster who guards the bridge doesn’t want them to cross. However, each of the goats finally talks the monster into letting him pass.

Synopsis: This time, when the goats decide to have pizza, they decide to call in an order for delivery. When the Pizza Girl (La Niña de la Pizzería) arrives at the bridge, the Monster tries to frighten her before he realizes that she has purple hair. Since he is afraid of the color purple, he runs away, falling into the creek.

The three bears and the three goats compete against each other inthe quiz show ¿Que es?
When they are asked the question “What is it?”
they must identify the articles. The three goats win the contestand the first prize, a toy car. The second place prize, won by the three bears,is a large pizza. The pigs decide that they like the pizza better, and anexchange is negotiated.

The three goats order more pizza, but when it is too hot, theyleave it to cool. The Monster finds and eats all the pizza. Then, seeing apurple house and a purple toy car, he runs away, knocking over the house andbreaking the toy car. Finally, the three goats confront the Monster, who agreesto fix their toys and order more pizza for them.

Synopsis: Misunderstandings threaten to ruin the Monster's (el Monstruo)birthday. The Girl (Niña), Salsa and the Chef (Chef Loco) are busy making acake for the Monster when he drops into the pizza parlor for a visit. Notwishing to spoil the surprise, they quickly disappear. Next he pays a visit toBaby Bear (Bebé Oso), who, together with Little Rat (Ratoncito), is wrapping apresent for the Monster. They, too, quickly disperse. The Monster's spiritsimprove greatly when all of the characters throw a surprise party for him.

Synopsis: While the Dog (Perro)sleeps, the characters concoct their own version of The Three Billy GoatsGruff. On the Goats' way to get ice cream, the Monster (el Monstruo) stopsLittle Goat (Chivo Pequeño) and charges him seven tomatoes to cross the bridge.Little Goat comes back with green tomatoes, but the Monster insists on red.When he returns with the correct toll, Little Goat is allowed to pass. MediumGoat (Chivo Mediano) approaches and the Monster charges him seven pieces ofcheese. Medium Goat brings the cheese and crosses the bridge. Finally, Big Goat(Chivo Grande) arrives and both characters cross the bridge for ice cream.

Point-to Activity Teacher has large pictures or representations of objects in the vocabulary. Teacher selects three (or more) of the pictures, places them in different parts of the room. The students point to the picture that corresponds to the word the teacher says. Use the parts of the body cards.
TPR Hold Up Activity Have students cut up flashcards (body parts) and place in a baggie. Each student has in front of him or her pictures or representations of objects in the vocabulary. Student touches object or holds up object named by the teacher.
Musical Chairs/Cake Walk
Place images (black line masters) on the floor in a circle. Play music. When the music stops, the students must name the object on which they have stopped. For variety, you could have colored noses, ears, etc.
Bingo – Olé Olé - Students randomly place flashcards on the Bingo Board. Teacher calls vocabulary words and students place a marker on the correct word. Student might come up and select a picture, calling out the word in Spanish to the class (without showing the picture to the class)
TPR Partner Activity Each student has in front of him or her pictures or representations of objects in the vocabulary. Student tells partner what she or he has. (can be a card game)
Go Fish Card Game Each student has his or her own set of pictures or representations of objects in the vocabulary. The student sets are combined to form a set/deck of images. Students then play Go Fish.
Seven – Up Seven students go the front of the class, each holding up a picture of one of the vocabulary words. The remaining students put their heads down, thumbs up. Each student with a picture puts down another student’s thumb. The teacher calls Siete Arriba (7 Up) and the 7 students get up and try to guess the name of the picture that selected them, , ,¿Es el chivo?.. el monstruo, la niña? Lead students respond with Sí, No
Colorea los Tres Chivos – Color the Three Goats - Los Tres Chivos and the storyboard.
La Pizza Complete the pizza board with the pictures of the foods they like.
Repeat: Me gusta la pizza con ___ ( name a food)
