Physical activity is body movement that expends energy, while physical education is designed to help students develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to participate in active, healthy living.  Activities included in our PE curriculum are designed to promote physical fitness, to develop motor skills, to instill knowledge and understanding of rules, concepts, and strategies, and to teach students to work as part of a team, or as individuals, in a wide variety of activities.
