The HMS School Counseling staff are here to assist you in planing your years at Heritage Middle School.  General information will be posted here, however, specific questions should be directed to your assigned counselor.
 
Progress reports and report cards will be issued four times this year.  Please refer to the chart below for reporting dates:

An explanation for the grades reported on your student"s marking period report cards are as follows:
A - ExcellentI - IncompleteZ - Exempted/No Grade
B - Above AverageW - Withdrawn+ = upper part of grade range
C - AverageX - Medical Excuse- = lower part of grade range
D - Below AverageS - Satisfactory* = modified curriculum/prompting
F - FailingU - Unsatisfactory^ = developmental achievement


Note:  A+ is no longer used
