MPE Orchestra and Band Members/Harrison 4th Grade Band Members/Hillside 4th and 5th Grade Band Members: Band/Orchestra Program Weekly lessons are held on a rotating schedule during the curricular day in order to minimize students' time outside of academic subject areas. When properly adhered to, students miss any one particular segment of classwork only once in an eight week period. When coming to lessons students must have their instrument, book, and a pencil. If a student has a test or quiz they stay in class and take the test or quiz. They can then make up the lesson with another lesson time. Early morning rehearsals take place on a weekly basis in preparation for concerts. These are scheduled in advance.
