Living clean, healthy lifestyles, stunt riders deliver a thrilling anti-drug message.
Heritage Students The guys on the bikes scored a slam-dunk with the Livingston middle school crowd, soaring high above the baskets in the Heritage gymnasium to teach students the importance of a safe, energetic and drug-free lifestyle without sacrificing thrills.
Part of the special Red Ribbon Week events taking place at all Livingston Public Schools, the BMX stunt riders on October 24 performed hair-rising stunts, including jumping over teachers brave enough to take part in the show.
Red Ribbon Week is the most visible time of year for substance abuse prevention efforts, and the Perfection on Wheels daredevils delivered a thrilling message.
At Heritage, the riders talked to students about reaching their goals while living drug and alcohol free – flipping and soaring on bikes to literally to show kids a natural high. “We don’t want you to lose the opportunities that will come to you in life because you made a bad decision,” students were told.
