    Students' grades are based on three major categories:

    TESTS: 50% of the marking period grade is based on test performance. There will be 1-2 tests each marking period.

    QUIZZES:     30% of the marking period grade is based on quiz performance. There will be approximately 2-4 quizzes each marking period.



    HOMEWORK, PARTICIPATION, and NOTEBOOK CHECKS: 20% of the marking period is based on a combination of homework, class participation, and Calendar Math check-ups
