    Absent - Unexcused
    Parent did not confirm an absence or reason for absence does not meet any of 6 considerations outlined in the Pupil Attendance Policy and Regulation #5200.
    Absent - Half Day Unexcused
    Parent did not confirm an absence or reason for absence does not meet any of 6 considerations outlined in the Pupil Attendance Policy and Regulation #5200.
    Absent - Half Day Excused
    Confirmation of absence was made by parent.
    Absent - Excused / Confirmed
    Confirmation of absence was made by parent.
    Absent - Admin Approved (Excused)
    At the discretion of an Administrator ONLY.

    Tardy (w/ time) Unexcused
    Student has not given a valid excuse. An example would be the student overslept.
    Tardy (w/ time) Excused
    Student has a legitimate excuse: parent note/call, parent walks student in, doctor appointment, or one of the district’s reasons outlined in the Pupil Attendance Policy and Regulation #5200.

    Early Dis (w/ time) Unexcused
    Student has not given a valid excuse. Occurrences are counted in the Tardy Unexcused Total.
    Early Dis (w/ time) Excused
    Student has a legitimate excuse: parent note/call, parent walks student in, doctor appointment, or one of the district’s reasons outlined in the Pupil Attendance Policy and Regulation #5200.

    Out-of-School Suspension
    Student has been suspended from school. Absence counts.
    In-School Suspension
    Student has been given a suspension in school. Not an absence - student counts as present.

    Field Trip
    Student attended a field trip. Not an absence – student counts as present.
    Religious Observance Excused
    Still counts as an absence, but excused according to state guidelines.
    Home Instruction Excused
    According to state guidelines, student still counts in enrollment figures.
