I have been working at Hillside school since the 2015-2016 school year. I began as an instructional aide working in 3rd grade, then I moved to kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. Following my experience as a second grade instructional aide, I began lead teaching in the 2019-2020 school year. I started the year in 3rd grade, moved to 2nd grade, and finished the year back in 3rd grade. I taught 4th grade for three years and will now be making the move to 2nd grade for the upcoming school year. 

Prior to teaching, I worked in customer service, technical support, accounting, and human resources. My family had a non-profit organization for 16 years which focused on working with children who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. We also assisted other organizations that worked with children in need. 

I was born and raised in New Jersey. I received my undergraduate degree from Ramapo College and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from New Jersey City University. I have lived in Massachusetts, Maryland and Colorado. I'm a big baseball fan and root for the NY Mets. I have spent the last decade trying to visit every baseball stadium across the country and need 2 more to complete my goal! I enjoy a good movie, seeing stand-up comedy, and attending live concerts.
