After a month of preparation, students met author Audrey Vernick.  In an engaging presentation about her books, she shared her own story about her writing process and her road to publishing.  The students were attentive, asked insightful questions, and serenaded our special visitor with various thank-you songs and cheers.  Thank you to the PTA for sponsoring the visit and gifting Audrey with a Harrison baseball jersey!  It was a wonderful day all-around!
