Next Monday and Tuesday will be NJSLA testing for Math and Science. Freshmen and sophomores taking any level of Algebra 1, Geometry, or Algebra 2 will take the NJSLA-Math. All juniors will take the NJSLA Science. Freshmen and sophomores will test from 7:50 to 9:50. Juniors will test from 7:50 to 10:20, and then start their schedule halfway through block 1. Seniors should arrive at 7:50 for senior programming on both days. The class schedule following testing will be periods 1-4 on Monday and periods 5-8 on Tuesday.

The Lancer Softball team begins their state playoff run today vs Bloomfield at 4 pm. Tomorrow, The Lancers take on #5 State ranked Cedar Grove in the Essex County semi-finals at 7PM at Seton Hall University.

Are you interested in learning about the incredible, amazing, magnificent fields of science? Then come to the 14th annual science research symposium. You can explore the various talks and posters created by the science research students while enjoying refreshments!!! The event will start at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, May 22 in the auditorium. Make sure to bring friends and family! All are welcome, hope to see you there.

National Art Honor Society is hosting their Big Annual Art Auction on Wednesday June 5th, in the LHS cafeteria. The night begins with the induction ceremony at 6:30, then the art auction at 7. For a fee of $5 for 25 tickets, you can win great pieces of original artwork made by LHS students and teachers. All proceeds go to Breaking The Chain Through Education. See you at the auction!
