The Heritage Middle School FemGineers competed in the 2021 Future City Design Challenge. This year, the competition challenge was to design a city on the moon.

 

HMS team, Luna Hermosa, earned third place overall in the competition. Team members Avery Wiener, Raya Sapherstein and Phoebe Liu won Amazon gift cards for themselves, and a $1,250 STEM grant for the program!

 

HMS team, Lunar Lands, won the award for "Best Use of Moon Resources." Team members Kamalika Vora, Ivanka Tarasyuk and Fiona Chen won Splendor board games.

 

An all-female engineering club, the FemGineers are advised by Ken Zushma.
