Today's Summary… 

Morning Meeting -Today we completed Morning Meeting slides posted on Google Classroom. We shared our favorite theme park attraction for Theme Park Tuesday. We sure had fun sharing ideas and connecting to science today!

Social Studies- Today we continued our unit on USA Government. We continued our final UNIT PROJECT (see project choices posted on GC).

Reading/Writing: Today we continued book clubs for our unit on historical fiction. Through our mentor text, Number the Stars we learned that readers pay attention to minor characters. We learned that minor characters are in the story for a purpose.  We took time to read through Ch 9 and note Uncle Henrik’s perspective. Then, we read and noted character perspectives in our book club groups. **if you were at the K graduation please ensure you catch up on your group’s reading TONIGHT.

 HW: Read 20-30 min nightly and be sure to look over the Critics’ Corner calendar in preparation for sharing your favorite book (you read this school year). 

Math- Ch 5 REVIEW continued today. We played Jeopardy (you may visit the link on Google Classroom to play at home. 

Reminder: Test TOMORROW study guide was sent home LAST week)/HW: COMPLETE study guide (as needed) 

 Science- NO science today due to double specials 

**For specials today we had: STEAM (NO PE due to Kickball Event)

Word Study- 5th Grade Kickball and Ice Pop event today (no Word Study today) 

**NO more Sort assessments of HW for the school year.
