    Dear Parents and MIGHTY MPE Student Leaders,

    Thank you for supporting the Student Council and ensuring our initiatives thrive. 

    Below are the highlights and upcoming activities for end of Feb/Beginning of March:

    Celebrations:

    💖 Valentine’s Day Baskets – A Heartwarming Success!
    Thank you for making our Valentine's Day basket drive a success. Your thoughtfulness brought smiles to many and helped spread love throughout our community.

    🔥 Warm-Up Station for Crossing Guards & Carline Staff – Our amazing Executive Board helped keep our dedicated staff warm during the chilly mornings! The crossing guards and carline staff truly appreciated your kindness and effort in showing gratitude for their hard work.


    🎉 Over 100 PJs Collected! Thank you for making our drive a success and bringing warmth to those in need.

    Upcoming Events:

    🎙️ Podcast Participation – 5th Graders Only (For Now!)
    At this time, the podcast will be limited to 5th graders. We appreciate everyone’s interest, and there will be opportunities for other grade levels to participate later in the year! If you're in 5th grade and interested, bring your lunch and device to our meeting on Wednesday, 2/26 during lunch and recess in Mrs. Szostak’s room.

    🌟 5th Grade Talent Show – Encourage your peers to join! Meeting details will be shared by Mrs. Szostak soon. While the Talent Show is in June, Student Council will play a key role in preparing for this school-wide event.

    📅 Next Student Council Meeting – Wednesday, 2/26
    Our next Student Council meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 26. Be sure to attend during your RECESS as we will be discussing upcoming initiatives and school-wide events.
