When I was a little girl, I played school. Luckily, as I grew, I learned it is not a good idea to put checkmarks on the foreheads of students! (As I did with my dolls!). And lucky for me, my dream of being a teacher came true! I have a Masters in Education and have certifications in Library Media, Music, and General Ed K-5. My husband, Jim, is a music teacher and we have four grown children. Our oldest son, Matt, teaches Computer Science at the high school level. Our daughter, Jamie Lynn, teaches Special Education in an elementary school. Our twins, Christopher and Michael are both research scientists; Christopher as a biomedical engineer and Michael as a chemist. We have a son-in-law, Matt, who is an airplane and helicopter mechanic, and a daughter-in-law, Samantha, who is a nurse. We also have a daughter-in-law to be! I love spending time with my family, and reading, of course. I also love to hike, bike, kayak, write, play my flute, and crochet. And it goes without saying (but I will say it anyway), I love teaching the wonderful children at Harrison School. You make my days happy! Thank you!
