Our Pep Rally at the start of the week was a huge success! Please see our video that kicked off our superhero theme for the year! We also came together to sing our Harrison Song and our new Superpowers Song! Thank you to all the teachers who helped make this a Harrison School success!

Our 5th grade Committee is running a snack sale on November 4, 5, and 6 for our conference days. If you would like your child to receive a snack and support the 5th grade committee please do so. A message was also sent out on Friday. These days are 12:00 dismissal days. Here is the link for ordering. 

Trunk or Treat is just around the corner! It will take place on October 29th from 5:00-6:30 pm. Please see the flier that was sent by the PTA on October 2nd. The flier details information on how to sign up and volunteer! This event is wonderful for all our children and families to attend and it is made possible by all the parents who volunteer to decorate their cars in creative and fun ways! Thank you in advance to the PTA for making this happen.  

Our Equity Team at Harrison is looking for any interested parents to volunteer their time to provide their perspectives and achieve the district and school goals around equity. If you are interested, please email Mrs. Fernandez by October 18th if you would like to participate as our first meeting will be in October. Participants should expect to be able to attend in-person meetings from 2:50-3:35 every month at Harrison School.

Looking ahead, parent-teacher conferences will be held on November 4th, 5th, and 6th after 12:00 pm. All days are 12:00 dismissal days for students. Sign-ups for conferences will go out through Genesis as they did last year on October 28th. More information will be shared soon.

Dear Harrison Families,

Wow, can you believe it? September has flown by, and I’m so proud of the incredible start we’ve had!  

This week, we’re kicking off the Week of Respect with a Harrison School Pep Rally on Monday. Please make sure your children come dressed in their Harrison Spirit wear or blue and yellow clothing! Students and staff will gather in the gym in the morning to celebrate and introduce our exciting theme for the year based on the book Arnold the Super-Ish Hero! More details will follow on how we’ll be incorporating this theme throughout the school year.

Picture Day is Tuesday, October 8th! All students will have their individual and class photos taken. A big thank you to LifeTouch for partnering with us again this year.

Reminder: There will be no school for students on Monday, October 14th, as our teachers will be attending a professional development day.
