Dear Harrison Families,

What a fun-filled week! As I am sure you all heard, on Tuesday our Harrison students enjoyed a wonderfully planned and executed Field Day! The students traveled around to multiple centers where they practiced a variety of key gross and fine motor skills, all while playing cooperatively. Our students did amazing! Thank you to Mrs. DeVito and Mrs. Alamorian for organizing the cooperative games and to all the teachers who make this day possible. Thank you as well to our PTA for supplying parent volunteers for the day and the delicious Italian Ice treats that all the students are still talking about!

Our Spring Picnic was a huge success! Thank you to our PTA for working hard to organize a fun day for our children. We had inflatables, a dunk tank, cotton candy, popcorn, spirit wear, pizza, snacks, and all our Harrison community! What else do you need to have a good time? Thank you again to the special members of the PTA who made it possible!

Looking ahead to this week! On Tuesday, June 14th, and Wednesday, June 15th, we have our Spring Scholastic Book Fair! This is an excellent way to stock up on books for the summer months but also give back to the school. Please make sure to check all the information sent about the book fair for more details. This year, scholastic has organized digital wallets as another way for your child to pay for books at the book fair! It is also a special way to donate to your teacher’s library. Thank you in advance for supporting Harrison!

Mrs. Caulfield needs your help to complete the inventory of the library media center before the summer!  Please remind your children to return all books by this coming Tuesday, June 14th (regardless of the day they normally have media).  Thank you so much!

Just a reminder, the circle in front of the school is only used for buses and emergency vehicles. Please do not use the front circle to drop off or pick up your children. Please refer to our handbook sent at the beginning of the year for all information you may need about procedures.
