Dear Harrison Families,

Halloween is just around the corner, and we’re excited to celebrate two fantastic events at Harrison this year!

Tuesday, October 29th - Trunk or Treat:
We’ll kick off Halloween fun with our annual Trunk or Treat event organized by the PTA! Join us in the Harrison School parking lot from 5:00 to 6:30 pm for an evening of treats, trunks, and community. Please refer to previous messages from the PTA for information about this event.

Thursday, October 31st - Halloween Parade & Classroom Celebrations:
Our Halloween parade and in-class celebrations will be held on Halloween day. Families are invited to watch the parade on the school’s blacktop area. For your convenience, please refer to the attached map for designated viewing spots marked with smiley faces. The parade will end with a Harrison sing-along featuring Halloween music. The parade begins promptly at 12:45 pm.

After the parade, students will return to their classrooms for more festivities. A special thank you to our class parents and teachers for planning such a fun-filled day!

Helpful Reminders:

  • Students should arrive at school in their costumes, ready for a day of Halloween spirit. Parents may opt for simpler costumes for comfort, keeping in mind students will wear them until and through the parade.
  • Costumes should be school-appropriate and reflect positive, community-minded themes.
  • Please note that toy weapons (chains, handcuffs, swords, laser guns, etc.) and costume masks will not be permitted. Costumes with inappropriate language are also not allowed.
  • If you plan to take your child out of school for any reason, please sign them out at the front office.

Thank you all for your support and enthusiasm! Wishing everyone a safe and happy Halloween!
