The New Jersey Department of Education administers the following statewide assessments:
  • New Jersey Assessment of Skills and Knowledge – NJ ASK (grades 3-8)
  • High School Proficiency Assessment – HSPA (grade 11)
  • End of Course Biology Test (as well as a biology performance assessment prompt)
  • End of Course Algebra I
  • Alternate Proficiency Assessment – APA (for those students with severe cognitive disabilities)
  • Assessing Comprehension and Communication in English State to State for English Language Learners - ACCESS for ELLs™ (for all K-12 limited English proficient students)
 
In addition, the school district utilizes the following assessments:
  • Stanford 9 (grades 2, 9 and 10)
  • Otis Lennon School Ability Test (grades 3 and 6)
  • Differential Aptitude Test (grade 8)
