Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Nicole Hanna
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer. I also hope you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year! I am very excited to continue to teach the Grades 2-3 Language Learning Disabilities class at Hillside. As many of you know, my name is Nicole Hanna. Before teaching, I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at The Catholic University of America and my master’s degree in Childhood Special Education at New York University. This is my seventh year of teaching and my fourth year at Hillside Elementary School. My teaching experience has been primarily in Special Education. Most of my career, I have taught a Language Learning Disabilities (LLD) classroom. However, I’ve had the opportunity to teach all different types of special education programs including Resource Room, In-Class Support and Applied Behavior Analysis Extended School Year.
