  • My name is Katirose Destro and I am a third grade teacher at Hillside! I earned my Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Saint Bonaventure University and my Masters Degree in Childhood Literacy from Kaplan University. I taught second and third grade in New York City for seven years and fourth grade in South Orange for three years. This is my second year teaching at Hillside. Go Huskies! I live in South Orange with my three children- Anthony (10), Luca (7) and Isabella (5). In my free time, I enjoy running, gardening, going to the beach, football (go Bills!) and spending as much time as I can with my kiddos.
