JAMES "JIMMY" STEIGER SCHOLARSHIP FUND:

Due to the outpouring of support Livingston Public Schools has received, the LPS family has established this scholarship to honor all the amazing work Lisa Steiger has done for Livingston Public Schools and to honor her love for her husband.  

This scholarship fund has been created in honor of Jimmy Steiger, husband of Assistant Superintendent, Lisa Steiger. James was a facilities manager for Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church in Cedar Knolls. He lived his life in service to others. 

Each year a scholarship will be awarded to a deserving graduate (4 year or 18-21) who has faced, acknowledged and evolved through their own personal challenges (educational or personal) to meet his/her greatest potential. This student has demonstrated tremendous resiliency, faith and self discovery.  Supporting all students to reach their full potential has been Lisa's passion throughout her employment with LPS, and we can think of no better way to honor her work and her love for her family, than to establish this fund in her husband's honor.
