Welcome!! I am SO excited to be your teacher!

This will be my sixth year teaching at Hillside, and there is no place I would rather be!  I spent four years teaching fourth grade, and this will be my second year teaching fifth grade. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Government and Politics with a minor in Rhetoric from the University of Maryland. After pursuing a career in government, I decided to pursue my true passion- education. I attained my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and my Special Education Endorsement from Rutgers University.

When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my one-year old son, Connor, and my dog, Gus! You will quickly learn that I am a huge Jets fan, and love football season! In my free time, I enjoy working out, baking, traveling (especially down to the shore), reading, and hanging out with my friends and family.

I am looking very forward to learning more about each one of you!!! We will all grow in so many ways in our classroom community!
