Livingston Public Schools has two pre-school programs available to three- and four-year olds. One program offers a self-contained setting for special education students known as PRIDE and the other offers an integrated setting with special and general education students.
The self-contained program has been developed to identify and provide comprehensive educational experience for the child that focuses on the strengths of each child. The overriding goals of the program are:

The three-year old program will be in the mornings, five-days a week from 8:20 a.m. – 10:50 a.m. The four-year old program will be in the afternoons from 11:50 a.m. – 2:20 p.m. five days per week. The half-day classes are located at Burnet Hill Elementary School for children who turn 3 or 4 before October 1, 2014.
The general education students will be selected by lottery from applications filed by March 14, 2014 to fill available space. The cost for students selected by lottery will be $3,000 per year. A birth certificate, copy of immunization and proof of Livingston residency will be required of those students admitted to the program.
