September 13, 2010, Livingston, NJ – Livingston Education Foundation (LEF) has been busy connecting with parents, alumni, school organizations, administrators, teachers and retired teachers, community businesses and organizations for our Inaugural Livingston Hall of Fame Homecoming Weekend 2010.
Driven by the belief that a strong sense of community, education and passion influence our children so that they can positively affect the world around them, LEF invites the public to celebrate education and wellness, October 15-17!
Beginning on Friday, October 15, Livingston High School students will be visited by LHS Hall of Fame inductees: Harlan Coben, international best-selling author, LHS class of 1980, Jennifer Goodman Linn, Co-Founder of Cycle for Survival, LHS class of 1989 and Major General Glenn Rieth, Adjutant General of New Jersey who commands the NJ Army and Air National Guard and Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, LHS class of 1976. As inductees to the 2010 Hall of Fame, these distinguished alumni have expressed their excitement about returning to speak with LHS high school students connecting their experiences, education and achievements with current students’ interests. Following the Honoree visit, LHS students will gather for their traditional Homecoming Pep Rally.
On Friday evening at 7:00 p.m., LHS student athletes and band members will be showcased at the Homecoming Football Game against West Side High School on the LHS TURF. What a great place for alumni to gather and connect with old friends as they join our current school community and Livingston fans of all ages to cheer for the Lancers!
