Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Mary Dyer

Hello! My name is Mary Dyer and I am so excited to have your child in my fourth grade class this year. To tell you a little bit about myself, I am a Montclair State University graduate with a degree in Family Science and Human Development and a certification in teaching K-6 grades. This is my fourth year at MPE. As a lifelong Roseland resident, I am very familiar and comfortable with the Livingston community and all of the wonderful things it has to offer! I absolutely love to teach and I look forward to meeting you and your child

My classroom is a safe space for all students to feel welcome, comfortable, and supported. In addition to academic learning, I believe that social and emotional learning is a part of elementary school life that cannot be ignored. For this reason, morning meetings, mindfulness, closing circles, and movement are a part of our classrooms daily schedule. If there is anything that I can do or that we can to together to support your child in their academic life please do not hesitate to let me know!

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach me at mdyer@livingston.org. I strongly believe in overcommunication so that together we can find the best ways to meet your child's needs.
