My name is Raz Blau and I am new to Mount Pleasant Elementary this year. I am very excited to join the MPE staff and community!

This is the 9th year teaching Physical Education. I taught Kindergarten through 8th grade for 8 years in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. I also taught at South Orange & Maplewood School District for 4 month after graduating from Kean University with my Bachelor Degree in Health and Physical Education in January of 2011. I received my Masters Degree from Teacher College Columbia Univeristy in May of 2016.

After school I enjoy spending time with my wife, 1 year old son and friends. I am also the assitant Winter and Spring seasons Track and Field Coach at Livingston High School. I enjoyed staying physically fit and I certainly take pride in practice what I teach!

I plan on sharing my passion for a healthy lifestyle and physical activity through dynamic, engaging and fun activities. I look forward to helping children learn, grow and be active and healthy all while having a blast!
