    nurse Our school nurses periodically get phone calls from parents or a call from a classroom teacher that a child has been scratching his/her head. Groans of frustration and the attempts to keep panic out of the conversation can be heard. What isn't heard often times is a clear understanding of the current research that has been published about the age-old nuisance called head lice.
