Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! My name is Sarah Robey, and I am so excited to join the MPE community this year as a special education teacher.

This will be my 14th year as a special education teacher. I previously worked in Princeton, NJ, teaching grades 2-5 in both pull-out and push-in settings. Prior to that, I worked in New York City public schools for 7 years in a variety of roles, including a self-contained teacher, an inclusion teacher, and Special Education Coordinator. I earned my Bachelor’s from New York University in Childhood and Special Education, then I earned my Master’s in Special Education with a focus on learning disabilities from Hunter College. 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and playing with my young daughter. I love to dance, especially ballet, and I am passionate about reading - you can often find me with a book in my hands!
