K-6 Summer Math

Summer is the perfect time to make memories, relax, explore, adventure, and find fun ways to use mathematical thinking! 

Math is everywhere; in cooking, shopping, traveling, sports, games, and everyday decision  making. By noticing and talking about these connections, students can continue to strengthen their skills and experience math beyond the classroom. 

Mathematician Edsger Dijkstra once said, “There should be no such thing as boring mathematics.” We agree! With that spirit in mind, we have compiled a variety of engaging activities designed to spark curiosity, encourage problem-solving, build confidence, and support a love of mathematics throughout the summer.
