Livingston High School’s select vocal ensembles, Chamber Singers and Notations, performed at the High Note Festival in Allentown, PA, on Thursday, May 28th. Performing at Calvary Temple, both groups received the festival's highest mark, a "Superior" rating.

In addition to the top rating, Notations earned a perfect score from one of the festival's judges—a notable distinction highlighting the ensemble's high caliber of performance.

The dual Superior ratings reflect the students' consistent dedication throughout the school year. Facing evaluation by professional adjudicators, the Livingston ensembles demonstrated technical precision in their interpretation of choral works by Elaine Hagenberg, Bob Chilcott, and Stacy V. Gibbs.

During the evaluation, the adjudication panel commended the student musicians, offering particular praise for their impeccable diction and musical artistry. The judges noted that the clarity of their articulation, combined with their expressive delivery, distinguished their performances.

Following the formal adjudication, the students spent the remainder of the day at Dorney Park to celebrate their success.
