The 2025 Elementary Science Fun Night, held on March 19, 2025 was a resounding success, bringing the wonders of science to life for students in grades 2-5! Throughout the evening, young learners engaged in hands-on experiments exploring chemical reactions, the mysteries of light, engineering, the science of art, the science of toys, and much, much more. These interactive activities sparked curiosity, excitement, and demonstrated how much fun science can be!

The event was hosted by the dedicated Grade 6 STEMbassadors from Mount Pleasant Middle School, who led engaging demonstrations for a packed audience. Under the guidance of Mrs. Kim Nicolette (Grade 6 Science Teacher) and Dr. Dorian Gemellaro (PreK-6 Supervisor of Science), these student leaders organized and facilitated experiments for the younger students. With enthusiasm and expertise, the STEMbassadors explained the science behind each activity, ensuring a memorable and inspiring experience for all.

A special thanks is due to the MPM student STEMbassadors who volunteered their time and efforts to this event:  Zachary Altstadter, Sriansh Sai Ameti, Reyansh Arora, Adrit Bhattacharya, Kavya Bhavaraju, Anaisha Bothra, Vivaan Budhian, Stella Camaj, Colin Camp, Madison Church, Rishabh Diwan, Mark Faynzilbert, Mira Golomb, Rachel Guralnick, Peiang He, Evelyn Hsu, Madison Huhn, Eliana Iftode, Sherisha Jain, Kiaan Kala, Yug Khandelwal, Arjun Kumaran, Daniel Laskaris, Katheryn Liu, Rylen Lukanin, Rodrigo Mancero, Gitali Mishra, Christa Neree, Anoushka Pandey, Joon Park, Rhea Pippadipally, Aarush Pippadipally, Willa Platt, Spatika Prassana, Saisha Rajan, Samatha Rubinstein, Prisha Sampat, Saanvi Sethi, Aleya Sethi, Neil Ryan Shetty, Ethan Sinha, Grayson Sweetney, Aarush Umakanth, Cole Walvick, Joseph Wang, Avery Wu, Jayden Yuen, Reyansh Zagade, and Aayansh Zagande.
