New Student Registration
If you are registering a student who has previously attended a Livingston public school and/or is currently attending a
Livingston Public School Pre-School Program, please contact Amy Ennis.
Only a parent/legal guardian residing in Livingston may register a new student for Livingston Public Schools. Proof of residency requirements and other special circumstances may be found in this section.
Traditionally, the new student registration process is completed in person by appointment, however, the Board of Education offices are currently closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 health crisis. As an alternative, parents will be completing the registration process remotely. Prior to beginning the online pre-registration process, you should have all necessary documentation, as listed below, ready to be uploaded:
COMPLETED DOCUMENTS TO UPLOAD
- Original Birth Certificate
- Health Services Information/Medical Packet
- Proof of Residency
- Landlord Affidavit Form (if applicable)
- Records Request Form (for students entering grades 1-12)
- Recent Report Card/School Transcript
- Transfer Card (if transferring from another district within New Jersey - Grades 1-12)
- Custody Papers (if applicable)
- Copy of student's IEP (if applicable)

Please make sure all required documents have been uploaded and print the pre-registration confirmation page before logging out of the ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION website. Once complete, please email Amy Ennis at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a Remote Registration Appointment.
Mrs. Ennis will call parents at the scheduled appointment day/time to review the paperwork and answer any questions you may have.
