• Special visitors arrived at Harrison on Wednesday, November 11th -- Pam Chirls and Esma.  Pam is a puppy raiser for the Seeing Eye, a philanthropic organization that teaches children the importance of accepting and respecting everyone’s differences. Through their guide dog school, dogs are trained and then paired with humans so that the independence, dignity, and self-confidence of people who are blind are enhanced. Esma is the special pup that students had the opportunity to interact with during the visit.  One day, when training is complete, Esma will become a seeing eye dog.
