• Kindergarten children traveling all the way upstairs to fourth grade classrooms.  Fifth graders trying to fit into the chairs that were just right when they first started at Harrison. Staff members in different rooms all around the school.  It must be our annual "Mix-It-Up Day"!  On this special day, celebrated this year on Friday, January 15th, meeting new friends and spreading kindness were the goals.  In activities designed by School Counselor, Christine Siti, students first got to know one another while answering "would you rather" questions (i.e., "Would you rather use ketchup or chocolate sauce to cover your food?"   "Would you rather wear a super hero cape or an eye patch?"), and then happily shared crayons and markers as they designed pictures for the "Color a Smile" program. The classroom session ended with music and dancing.  But the mixing wasn't over!  At lunch, students gathered at brightly decorated tables (Thank You Harrison PTA!!) to have lunch with new friends:
