Using Codemonkey on BrainPop, navigating through the Minecraft world, helping cartoon characters through a maze, and giving directions to a Bee-Bot were just a few of the activities in which Harrison children joined students from around the country in learning all about the exciting world of computer coding.  Engagement was total, feelings of accomplishment were many, and the students had fun while problem-solving and using critical thinking skills.  Take a look at the photo gallery below and then be sure to scroll down to see a video of first grade students figuring out code during an innovative lesson co-taught by Physical Education Teacher, Mr. Russak and Music Teacher, Mrs. Matten.
