What does this mean for your school?
On December 8, 2009 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Livingston residents, registered to vote, will be going to the polls and asked whether they support a referendum that would provide necessary facility upgrades to the elementary and middle schools. In a second question, voters will also be asked if they support the installation of solar panels on the elementary and middle schools and Livingston High School.
What do facility upgrades mean and what are their benefits? What will solar panels do for the schools and the environment? If voters approve the referendum on December 8th, the schools and Livingston community would reap the benefits that would come with the necessary upgrades and contribute to the conservation of the environment.
See below to learn about the impact the referendum would have on each school.
