On Friday, September 5, Harrison came together in true community fashion to help others and have fun at the same time. Willing staff members, and students in grades 1-5, accepted Mrs. Healy's Ice Bucket Challenge, to raise funds for ALS research. (We raised $649.00!) After donations were collected, everyone gathered on the blacktop and doused themselves with water, while other staff and students -- including the entire Kindergarten Family -- cheered them on. Take a look at the video, and then be sure to scroll down to see some photos. What a great start to a new school year!
