• Each year the fourth graders embark on a cross-curricular character education project in which they explore ten positive character traits.  They relate those traits to themselves, people in their communities, characters in literature, and the subjects of biographies or news articles.  They write original poems and jingles based on the words and create theme-centered covers for books in which they compile their information.  Lastly, they research a particular person and "become" that person in a living museum which is visited by their families.  As usual, their hard work paid off in a truly outstanding presentation:
