Halloween is traditionally a time for fun and getting candy. But this year Harrison students added a new dimension. Armed with boxes supplied by Student Council coordinator, Miss Sorrentino, many children collected money for UNICEF. In fact, they raised $1,206! Looking at the statistics below, it's easy to see that the money will go a long way! Congratulations to all the trick-or-treaters who carried the boxes, and to all the kind folks who filled them. A great lesson in generosity for one and all!$1 Gives a child 40 days of clean, safe water$5 Feeds a child for 5 days$100 Protects 100 kids from malaria$500 Installs a water pump to serve a whole village
