• Did you happen to catch the weather report for Thursday, April 9th?  Not sure what it was elsewhere, but at Harrison School, there was a variety of atmospheric phenomena including evidence of heat energy, air pressure, humidity, wind, evaporation, condensation and precipitation, not to mention a low lying cloud which covered the old gym in dense fog! John Deininger presented the  Franklin Institute Weather Program (click here for more information) which included audience participation, hands-on demonstrations, and scientific explanations.  The program was not only another outstanding event sponsored by Harrison's PTA, but offered the second graders the opportunity to show off all they have learned about weather already (to the delight of their teachers!):
