Black cats and bad luck are usually associated with Friday the 13th. Not this year! Instead, fuzzy slippers, comfy pj's and helping others were all signs that Friday, February 13th had arrived at Harrison School. Staff and students wore their pajamas and brought in donations to support the Child Life Program at St. Barnabas Medical Center. While in their comfortable clothes, everyone gathered in the new gym to participate in our annual yoga event in which we were reminded of the importance of connecting our bodies and minds in peace. Before we settled in, we were treated to presentations by select students who showed off what they made and what they learned during our second "Wonder" project which focused on the states of the U.S. Next up for "Wonder" -- inventions (prior to the year 2000!). Be on the look-out for more learning, more growing, and more wonder as we continue to stretch our minds (and bodies!):
