    Microsoft teacher training

On December 21, 2015 Livingston High School Pilot teachers Lori Perez, Rebecca Emert, Jeff Wieboldt and Monica Cohen visited the Microsoft Store in Willowbrook Mall to work with two Microsoft technology trainers. The trainers gave us insight into how best to work with students in the cloud using OneDrive and Office 365.

Microsoft teacher training We returned to the Microsoft store early on the morning of December 29, 2015 for more training and practice in anticipation of our Pilot Program starting the first week in January 2016.  During the second session, we concentrated on OneNote training so that Pilot teachers could utilize the power of using a digital notebook with their students. Lori Perez commented that she was excited to begin lesson planning using the annotation function with her History students. "It is so easy to eliminate advertising and unwanted elements on the webpage using the new Edge web browser, " she stated.

"I can see using voice recorded instructions to my students on a OneNote assignment page to clarify steps and processes," she continued. "This is a game changer when talking about lesson planning for differentiation." Microsoft teacher training
