• What makes a superhero?  Is it the ability to leap tall buildings in a single bound, or become invisible, or have the strength of ten people?  If you ask the students at Harrison School, they will tell you that being a superhero is all about having confidence in "The Power of Yet" -- the knowledge that even if you can't quite do or understand something YET doesn't mean you never will.  You just have to be your own superhero and work hard, keep trying, get help when you need it, try things a different way, and most of all be patient as you grow and learn. You have to listen to the positive messages, not the negative ones, as demonstrated by the "Affirmative Allies"  during Harrison's annual pep rally, held on Friday September 30th.  Following tradition, cheerleaders performed, students acted, and everyone danced!!  See the photo gallery below, and then scroll down to see a video of the pep rally.  Enjoy!  And remember. . .
Be Your Own Superhero and always have faith in The Power of Yet!
